| ABOUT |
| Golf the Card Game, Inc., has been located at the home office of owner and founder Michael Vogt in Lake St.Louis, Missouri. For eight years he has been planning its introduction to the public. Recently, moving its headquarters to a much larger office and a warehouse facility, that will serve the business expansion. |
| Mr. Vogt had the game copyrighted in 1998 and approached two of the largest game manufacturing companies for the opportunity to present his game idea, only to be denied the opportunity by both to show his game. He was told they do not encourage the submission of ideas by individuals who are not directly associated with their company or its agents. |
| Mr. Vogt was advised to contact a game broker for direction. Mr.Vogt followed their recommendation and contacted a game broker who directed him to a company that evaluates new game products to test it's playability. The game was evaluated for play value, competitive value, visual appeal, perceived value and cost. The evaluation came back that the game met all industry standards, however, the evaluation also recommended self-manufacturing. |
 |
| This is when Mr. Vogt incorporated his business and began planning the games future. Although Mr. Vogt knew he had an exciting game he also realized it needed an endorsement. |
| It wasn't until four years later at the end of 2003 through a chance discussion, that Mr. Vogt's friend and business associate had a friend that knew Mr. Palmer and thought he could arrange a meeting. |
| For the next eight months a prototype was redesigned and artwork was changed to present Mr. Palmer with a golf card game named " Arnold Palmer's Golf Card Game. " |
 |
You can't say "Business Deals" don't get done on the golf course ... ... because that is exactly where it happened ! |
| Mr.Vogt's appointment with Mr. Palmer was scheduled in the Country Club, but fans drew Mr. Palmer outdoors and the meeting took place on the driving range at Bellerive Country Club with thousands of people watching. |
| After over ten minutes of discussion and review, with Mr. Palmer, his comment was " I like it ... let's make this happen." |
 |
| Now, two years later, license agreement is in place, games are in production and we are " making this happen." We would like to recognize a couple of people that have helped make our golf card game happen ...... |
